Ed Baxter's Art Gallery
   For over forty years, self taught artist and Raleigh native Edward Baxter has produced oil
paintings covering a wide array of subject matter; landscapes,still life, portraits, abstracts,
religious themes and African works. His Jazz art series was well received at the North Carolina
Museum of History and the Chicago African Arts Festival. His latest series depicts ''Ladys in
Hats'' in a style only Ed Baxter can produce.                                                                                   
    Ed's art has been on display at the Gaks Coffee House and Tea Room, Sertoma Art Center,
Glance Art Gallery, Page-Walker Art & History Center, Herbert C. Young Community Center,
Shaw University, St-Augustine's College, Visual Art Exchange, Flint Fine Art, Zydecos
Downtown, Port City  Java, ArtSpark Image Slam, Local Color Gallery, Pitch Media Gallery,
and numerous other venues. In addition Baxter's work ''Drums for Billy Cobham'' was featured
on the Ovation T.V. Channel.
