Artists, like all other human beings, neither feel, nor see, nor think
alike. They shouldn't. And if one is to survive as a truly creative
force, he dares not seek to silence or obscure from view other artist
who do not see as he sees. The role of the artist is creative rather
than destructive. His knowledge of life teaches him that one man's
exposure to adversity will drive him to look inward toward those
strengths that proclaim his manhood to him.
